VOAD

VOAD is a collaborative network of voluntary organizations, community groups, faith-based organizations, and other non-profit entities that work together to provide disaster relief and recovery services. VOAD members represent a wide range of sectors, including health and human services, faith-based organizations, animal welfare groups, and volunteer agencies. Together, they coordinate their efforts to provide a comprehensive response to disasters, including sheltering, feeding, medical care, emotional support, and debris removal. VOAD facilitates communication, coordination, and cooperation among its member organizations, ensuring a unified and effective response to disasters at the local, state, and national levels.

Each of these volunteer programs plays a crucial role in enhancing community resilience, building capacity for emergency response, and supporting the overall disaster preparedness and recovery efforts of communities.
